One of the most difficult things to get as a songwriter or band is an honest rating of your music. If you record something and hand it out to friends/co-workers, they'll most likely say "it's pretty good", even if it isn't, because they don't want to hurt your feelings. The whole point of this site is to serve as a resource for musicians. To allow you to get objective opinions about your music, to help you learn where you need to improve, and to get you moving in the right direction.

I spent many years playing in a band in and around the Los Angeles area. Competition was staggering, but I made a ton of friends, had a lot of fun, and got to do something I loved doing. It was all about the music for me and it's all about the music for you too, or else you wouldn't be reading this page. I'm going to be adding a ton of features soon, such as an auto-generated press kit for your band, so make sure you sign up.
